SEAN LYNCH

Sean Lynch, a versatile musician, recording engineer, and event producer, has played a pivotal role in shaping the independent music scenes of both his hometown of Billings, Montana and Portland, Oregon. Lynch produced his first shows in Billings as a high school student and today owns and operates his club, The Pub Station as well as recording and engineering in the studio.

In 1995, Lynch relocated to Portland, Oregon with his band Spurge, a regional Montana favorite. Here, his career continued to expand into recording and producing. Portland’s vibrant and diverse music scene presented new opportunities for Lynch to grow both as a musician and a recording engineer. While continuing to perform with a new act, thebrotheregg, Lynch honed his technical skills in the studio as the lead engineer and producer for Portland based indie label, Resistor Records. Lynch’s ability to bring out the best in an artist’s sound and performance made him a sought-after producer and engineer. It was during this time that he took on the moniker, “Slynch”, for all technical and producer credits.

In 2001, upon a return to Billings, Sean opened a commercial studio, “Studio 712”. It was here he crafted his skill on various local projects as well and his band 1090 Club.  As they toured the US, Sean met many other artists and expanded his reach.  Lynch’s technical skills are complemented by a deep understanding of analog and digital recording, arrangement, and songwriting, He has worked with a variety of emerging and established artists including Gilda House, King Black Acid, Larry Yes, Rollerball, Stereo Crush, Berzerk, Lords of Light, Bright Light Fever, The Photo Atlas, 37 Clark, Tyler and Burnett to name a few.

MEG GILDEHAUS

As an emerging artist, recording engineer, and producer, Meg Gildehaus loves living and working in Billings, Montana. Her journey to professional music was shaped both at home growing up in the Beartooth Mountains, away at St. Paul's School in Concord, NH for high school, at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, and back to Montana again, landing in Billings.

In Billings, Gilda House played violin and sang in Billings’ party band favorite, Arterial Drive for 5 years before debuting her current project called Gilda House, a band incorporating synth pop, art pop, indie, and industrial influences. Gilda House started with Meg as a solo creator but quickly evolved into a collaborative band including Tony Morales on keys and guitar, Nick Miles on drums & lighting, and Sean Lynch as a studio collaborator and manager. Gilda House quickly became a standout act in Billings and beyond, known for their unique sound balancing dreamy, ethereal qualities with raw, high-energy synths and production.

Alongside her work as as an artist and performer, Gildehaus is an inspired recording engineer and producer. Whether it’s writing, producing, and recording her own music or working with other artists to execute their vision, Gildehaus is musically the most at home in the studio. Since beginning to experiment with music composition, recording, and technology in high school, she has never stopped learning and growing. Working with Sean Lynch in his studio setting starting in 2021, Gildehaus quickly became a skilled professional engineer under his instruction and continues deepening her knowledge and creativity. Lynch and Gildehaus now co-own BFN Entertainment Management which includes their studio and artist management company based in Billings, MT.
